Registration for the official selection are now open !

For several years, the Toulouse Indian Film Festival has used the FilmFreeway online website to facilitate the submission of films that wish to register for the official selection. This platform allows us to better regulate all applications and simplify our selection process. We prefer films received directly on Filmfreeway, but it is also possible to send us your films via a link (preferably protected by a password), or send us a DVD/ Bluray (this will not be returned). You can contact us by email if you wish to do this.

In all cases, please respect the pre-selection criteria.

The pre-selection rules:

1. Entries for the festival are open to films produced by the Indian subcontinent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka et the Maldives.

2. Accepted formats: feature films, short films (maximum 30 minutes), documentaries et animated films.

3. The films must be finished.

4. English or French subtitles required.

5. The film must be recent, its production date is after January 1, 2024. An exception can be made if the film has never been released in France.

If your movie is selected:

1. You must sign a Festival release and authorize us to use the film’s communication materials (sent in advance) such as posters, film images, filming photographs, videos, etc.

2. If a someone comes to present your film (director, producer, actor), please notify the Festival team at least 5 weeks before the dates of the Festival. Take into account the time required for the visa procedure and the implementation of programming.

3. You need to send us two files: one of your film without embedded subtitles (HQ clean), and the subtitles (English or French). This must be in SubRip Text (.srt) format.

4. If you do not have French subtitles, the team will prepare the French copy. Therefore, it is mandatory to send us the English translation and the English subtitle file ready for projection.

5. The subtitles produced and translated for our screenings belong solely to their authors and/or to the Toulouse Indian Film Festival, in accordance with French copyright law.

Join the team

To join the official team of the Toulouse Indian Film Festival, there are two possibilities.

Join the organisation

Each year, you can join the organisation and discover the backstage of the Festival while maintaining your status as a festivalgoer. Thus, you will be invited to the general meetings and will be informed in exclusivity of the different preparations of the event: whether it is the programming of the next edition or the special sessions planned before or after the Festival.

Join the official team

The Festival is looking for motivated and competent people to help realize its ambitions and provide the best experience possible. Your expertise and support can make the difference. If you are not afraid to actively and voluntarily engage, do not hesitate to contact us! Our team of enthusiasts is open to any proposal.
